JOB TITLE: Imperial Imaging Scheduler
GENERAL SUMMARY OF
Serves as primary contact for scheduling needs of the Imperial
REQUIRED: Imaging Manager
all incoming calls to schedule appointments. Schedules appointments as
requested. Provides the nurses or
patient with necessary preparation instructions for the procedure. Confirms patient data is correct and
insures that a diagnosis code is provided for the procedure. Screens patient insurance data for
billing purposes. Monitors patient
accounts for credit status of delinquent accounts. Insures that patients are told to arrive
fifteen minutes early for their appointment, except x-rays. Reschedules patients when necessary.
