JOB TITLE: Center for Orthopaedics Office
GENERAL SUMMARY OF DUTIES: Manages the daily operations of
the Center for Orthopaedics Practice locations under the direction of the
Practice Manager. Ensures development of
standardized departmental wide systems aimed at maximizing operational
efficiencies: clinical quality and
efficiency, patient satisfaction, clinical and practice management
effectiveness, regulatory compliance, and revenue cycle optimization.
REQUIRED: Practice Manager
EXERCISED: All support staff within Center
For Orthopaedics (CFO).
Practice Manager in developing/implementation oversight of appropriate front
office policies to promote timely and efficient flow of patients through the
clinics and facilitate communication back to referral network.
the front office staff and the revenue cycle process.
the clinic policies and process improvements are implemented on a daily basis
appropriate documentation manuals, office policies/procedures and ensures
compliance with appropriate regulations.
independent judgment to provide effective day to day staff resource management,
including appropriate office staff scheduling, shift coverage, and facilitating
time off requests and employee timesheets.
with all staff, Practice Manager, and providers regarding site business needs,
issues, information, etc.
for staff evaluation, mentoring and disciplinary process under the guidance of
orientation and training for new office personnel.
recommendations and provides input to Practice Manager on achieving budget
goals, meeting revenue cycle metrics, and variances.
as an organizational resource to lead or actively participate in projects and
as practice-wide super-user for all practice management software.
as a resource and models the delivery of excellence in customer service to
customers and staff.

REQUIREMENTS: High school diploma or equivalent. Bachelor's degree in business or health care
administration is preferred.
Minimum three years of administrative experience
including one year of supervisory experience in health care.
